Before You Visit

Here are a few answers to questions people often ask before joining us on a Sunday morning.

Sunday mornings at SBC are relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. As a multicultural church, we bring together people from many backgrounds to worship Jesus, grow in faith, and build community. If you'd like to visit and see what we're all about, we'd love to have you join us.

We're glad you asked! We have great programs for children during the service, with caring leaders, age-appropriate activities, and a safe environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun.

As an urban church in Old Strathcona, parking takes a little flexibility. We have a small parking lot, as well as street parking and several public lots nearby. If you need to walk a block or two, you're in good company—we're glad you've joined us.

Whatever makes you comfortable. SBC is a casual church, and you'll find people dressed in everything from jeans and a T-shirt to business casual. Come as you are—we're much more interested in meeting you than in what you're wearing.
